Contact us today
We're here to help you get jobs and start careers in horticulture or viticulture, so phone or email a PickNZ Regional Coordinator today!

Click on the name of the region in the list below, or click on the green areas on the map to view its contact details. The areas in grey have no Regional Coordinator, so contact the one in the nearest green area.
Regional Coordinators are here to help you get started in horticulture. They can help find you work, somewhere to stay, and organise transport to and from an orchard or farm.
Finding you a job
They are specialists at matching your skills and work preferences to the jobs available in the region of your choice. They know when and where work is available, plus they have a large network of employer contacts.
Getting you started
Regional Coordinators can help start you off in the horticulture industry in many different ways. They can:
- help you find accommodation
- organise a lift to and from work
- help you open a bank account
- process an Inland Revenue Department (IRD) number for you in as little as two days (fees apply)
- tell you about the clothing and gear you need on the job.
For New Zealanders, they can advise you about further training and education to help you with a career in the horticulture industry.
Help with immigration
Need assistance with immigration? Regional Coordinators can:
- process Working Holiday Scheme (WHS) extensions
- advise if there are any Supplementary Seasonal Employer (SSE) positions available and process SSE work permits
- process Variations of Conditions (VOC's).
Note: NZ Immigration Service application fees and a service fee apply to visa and work permit processing.
Some Regional Coordinators are also Licensed Immigration Agents and can provide specific immigration advice. Currently, these are in Otago and Marlborough.
